Peacefully at the Montfort Hospital on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the age of 66. Dear son of the late Pauline (nee Denis) and the late Hervé Giroux. Dearly beloved husband of Nelda (nee Breau). Loving father of Marc (Lucie) and Tina Gallinger (Shaun). Devoted grandfather of Karim, Damien, Joshua and Olivia. Dear brother of Lise Périard (Pierre), Suzanne Giroux, Jeanne Bruyère (Luc) and Lucien Giroux. The Funeral Mass will be held at St-Louis-Marie-de-Montfort Roman Catholic Church, 749 Trojan Avenue, Ottawa on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. The family will receive condolences at church from 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Il était le fils de feu Pauline (née Denis) et de feu Hervé Giroux et l’époux bien-aimé de Nelda (née Breau). Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil son fils Marc (Lucie), sa fille Tina Gallinger (Shaun) ; ses petits-enfants : Karim, Damien, Joshua et Olivia; ses sœurs Lise Périard (Pierre), Suzanne Giroux, Jeanne Bruyère (Luc) et son frère Lucien Giroux. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu en l’église St-Louis-Marie-de-Montfort, 749, avenue Trojan, Ottawa le samedi 23 septembre 2017 à 9 h 30. La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 9 h.
