Peacefully in hospital, on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017, at age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Mario. Loving mother of Mario (Michelle), Luciano, Ottavio and the late Leo. Cherished Nonna of Grandsons Domenico (Crystal), Ottavio, Aaron, Vincenzo (Narumi), Ian and Fernando and great-granddaughters Hailey, Chloe and Abigail. Dear sister of Bruno, Rita, Ida, Zita and Lina and predeceased by brother Romeo.
Born and raised in Holytre, Ontario, was the middle child of seven and daughter of the late John Serafin and Marie Ange Bouchard. Moved to Hamilton then Ottawa where she met her husband Mario, where she raised her four boys, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to all who has been involved in Irma’s life and well-being in her time of need, including CCAC and Bayshore.

Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Thursday, November 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 25th at 9am. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery with Reception to follow at the McGarry Family Reception Centre. Memorial donations to the Dementia/ Alzheimer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated.
