Peacefully on November 9, 2017 at the age of 89. Predeceased by siblings Henry McPhie, Agnes Head, Rena Proffit, Joanne Crossley, and Mona Lorimer. Survived by sisters Carol McPhie (Scotland) and Elizabeth Stevenson (Australia), and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Helen was a retired nurse who had worked at the Grace Hospital and Ottawa Civic Hospital. Helen loved to travel and was an avid knitter donating many of her creations to charity. She enjoyed curling at the R.A. Centre and at Carlington Heights
