I feel very privileged to have known him, worked and travelled with him in our CMC days. Bill was the most sincere, authentic, and improbable character I have known, and more funny than he will ever know. I forever cherish the stories he so masterfully related and shared with me. The world will miss him.

It is with shock and sadness to hear of Bill's passing. I remember the days of meeting for libations at the Lighthouse and always having a laugh together at his stories and exploits from his worldly experiences. It was always great to see him around Blackburn in the years that followed and he was always cheery and always expressed an interest in my work and family life. He will be missed.
