ARSCOTT, Enid Mary (nee Gdanitz)
Passed away peacefully Sept. 13th, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Reverend Dermot Arscott. Predeceased by her brother Derek Gdanitz (Dorothy). Dearly loved mother of Stephen Arscott (Cheryl), Catherine Albaugh (Kirk), and Sarah Deschamps. Cherished grandmother of Tegan Barnard (Tim), Charis Barnard (Kelsey), Piers Barnard (Ina), Adam Arscott (Danica), Jordan Arscott (Melanie), Collin Deschamps and Emilie Deschamps. Great grandmother of Catalina and Emma. Enid was a devout Christian whose love of singing was only surpassed by her fondness of dogs. She was a teacher, Girl Guide leader, youth camp leader, and volunteer to many organizations. We wish to give special thanks to the Bradford House staff of Garry J. Armstrong home, Ottawa. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) Ottawa, on Monday September 18th at 4 p.m. until the time of the celebration of Enid’s life in the Chapel at 5 p.m., with a reception following the memorial service. Those who desire may make a donation in her memory to the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa.
