M.Legault a influencé plusieurs générations.

Condolence: From the very beginning, LaSalle Canada was the modernization of drum corps in Canada and Mr. Legault its energy. His style of directing the corps a show in itself; his arrangements excellent. HE made me want to be part of that excellence.
I was in fact a 'Cadet' for just one season only, the 'best' fielded I'd say, 1969. Lead soprano, a great but sadly disappointing year for all of us.
Years later, August 1995, I had the honour of meeting Mr. Legault, finally in Scranton, PA at the annual DCA Finals. He must have thought I was crazy, to thank him sincerely for all he had done for so many, me included. I'm so happy he had such a long life; well deserved. Wonder what he thought of how this 'sport' has evolved since the fine 'old school days' of the 1960's? He changed it up, too.
May God Bless this good man, and all his family. Amen.
Patrick M. (Dagenais) Crawford, in London, Ontario.

Condolence: To Shirley and all of Maurice’s family…
It is with the great sadness that we learned of Maurice’s passing.
Please accept our most sincere condolences.
I cannot let this moment pass without acknowledging Maurice’s contribution to LaSalle Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps in Ottawa. Many recall Maurice’s relentless devotion to the development and growth of this competing Drum Corps. Maurice was without doubt one of the key individuals that lead LaSalle Cadets to become one of the best junior Drum and Bugle Corps in Canada and the United States. Time has passed and time will continue, but for many of the people who were associated with LaSalle Cadets during so many successful years, Maurice’s leadership, dedication, desire to excel and most of all, his remarkable contribution has not been forgotten. Please know that it will never be forgotten.
On behalf of all former members of LaSalle Cadets, we take a moment to say…
From the bottom of our hearts, ‘’Thank you Maurice, we salute you’’.
May you rest in peace….

Ottawa Ontario Canada.

Condolence: Dear Shirley and Family,

We must love life and enjoy every moment because one day,
death will take us to new horizons.
Maurice lived with you numerous
sweet moments that he carries with him in his new home...
Although the flowers wither,
die and disappear, their precious perfumes still remain.
Just like these flowers, those we love never die;
they remain with us forever,
in our precious memories.
Hoping that time will ease your pain and that the beautiful moments forever etched in your heart, will comfort you.
We pray God to give you the courage and the force to go through those painful moments.

Condolence: Hello Aunt Shirley and family!
We, my husband and I, would like to extend our heartfelt condolences for your loss. Although we had not seen Mon oncle Maurice in some years, I do remember his regular visits to my mother when she was still alive. I'm sure that he has gone on to join the Legault family and is now in peace.

Take care!
