I always remember being at your house or at church and what a soft spoken, warm, welcoming woman your mom was. You will miss her dearly but one day you will meet again. Take care of yourself during this difficult time. love Joan

Condolence: Hello Karen and Family,
My parents, Charles and Doris McKenzie were very close friends of your parents over the years. They always had laughing visits with them and they were always available to support each other in any time of need.
I recall many great chats with your Mom, she was always the optimist and always had gentle words.
She and my Mom became even greater friends following the passing of their husbands.
With sympathy and fond thoughts. Janet (Mckenzie)

Condolence: Sending my love and deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mom. I have wonderful memories of Betty and Nick on Avondale Ave and sleepovers with my best friend Donna. Betty was a real gem who always made me feel at home.
She cooked a mean lasagna too, among other delicious Meals!
Love to the Babluck Family!

Condolence: From all of us here in Victoria we send our love to you all at this time. Aunt Betty and Uncle Nick were a big part of our lives over the years and all of us have wonderful memories of the happy times we spent together. The birthdays, Christmases, chats around the dinning table over breakfast with Nick's coffee, very fond memories. My Dad said one of the happiest days of his life was the day Nick told him he was marrying Betty, one of his best friends was now his brother. Aunt Betty was always encouraging and quick to offer to fill a nephew's empty stomach! Our love to all the family in Ottawa at this time, all of you and Betty will be in our thoughts and prayers.
