Lois Elizabeth  Babluck (Stewart)
Peacefully, at Valley Stream Manor, in the presence of her family, on July 12, 2017, in her 84th year. Cherished wife of the late Nicholas Babluck. Loving mother to Karen McFaul (Stephen), Steven (Nancy Montgomery) and Donna Barr (Bruce). Devoted Nana to Michael, Carrie (Sean), Kristi (Murray), Connor, Jennifer (Mark), Nicholas (Colleen), Cody (Carolyn) and Kaitlyn (Austin). Proud Great-grandmother to Nicole. Survived by her brothers Ron (Ruth), Ray, Larry (Pat). She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, extended family and by her close friends. Predeceased by her parents Charlie and Carrie Stewart, brother Harold and sister-in-law Colombe. Betty’s incredible strength throughout her many health issues was evident to the end. Now five years later she has been reunited with her beloved husband “Nick”. A special thank you to Valley Stream Manor, At Home Hospice, Carefor, Paramed Nurses and CCAC, for all the years of support and care provided. In particular the front line personal support workers for their daily dedication to Betty. Family and friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry , 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Byron), Ottawa on Tuesday, July 18th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Service to be held on Wednesday, July 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Kitchissippi United Church, 630 Island Park Drive, Ottawa. Reception to follow. Private interment at Capital Memorial Gardens. In memoriam donations to War Amps Canada appreciated.
