Peacefully on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 after a happy and fulfilling life at the age of 95 years. Joan Eileen Willis (nee Ayerst) dearly loved wife of the late Gordon Willis. Dear mother of Dave Willis and Margaret Willis and Ron Willis (Sue). Dear grandmother of Andrew (Sandra), Karen (Paul), Sarah, Adam (Stacey). Predeceased by her grandson Trevor Willis. Great-grandmother to Emma, Abby, Evan, Andie, Sonya, Sam, Cameron, Lydia. Predeceased by her brother Bill Ayerst. Daughter of the late Frederick & Ethyl Ayerst. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor), Ottawa on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 10 – 11a.m. A Celebration of Joan’s Life will be held in the Chapel at 11:00a.m. followed by a Reception. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
